Shear Madness Haircuts for Kids

My son has only come here twice, but I've been very happy with the results both times. Both ladies that cut his hair did an excellent job. It's clear they are used to working with kids as they are great at moving fast, but being patient at the same time. We'll be back again next time he needs his hair cut!

Took my 18 month old and it was the best experience he had getting his hair cut! Staff were friendly and did a great job. Will definitely be going again.

By far the BEST place to take young children for haircuts. The stylists are amazing with kids and don't get agitated or annoyed when they inevitably get upset, and cry. So patient and kind. Even with parents/family. My youngest just got his first hair cut.... broke my heart to watch him grow up in front of my eyes... and no one said a thing. Such a great place to have around. Well priced. $35 for a first haircut that saves his hair, before and after pictures, a scrapbook page, and the haircut. Wonderful. It is well worth it yall. 👌 ❤️ 💙

We've been to Shear Madness in West Des Moines two times for piercings without any issues. They even give the kiddos a lollipop during/after after the piercing and a plushie. My first child was 18 months, and my second was a petite 12 months. They have various earring qualities and sizes, including white or yellow gold for babies.

We always have a quick and easy time here. Even tho my kiddo isn’t super fond of haircuts, the stylists are always really patient and get the job done
